1. RM/Kim Namjoon

The leader of Bangtan and our president is known for comforting and soothing messages. He gives feel of home and taught us to love ourselves despite our flaws.

So ofcourse the books I'm recommending you will give you comfort and have soothing effect. Also the opinions are subjective so maybe it would not be same for you.

1. Red, White and Royal Blue

What happens when First Son of USA falls in love with the Prince of Wales? Alex finds himself hurtling into a secret relationship with Henry that could derail the campaign and upend two nations. What is worth the sacrifice? How do you do all the good you can do? And, most importantly, how will history remember you?

It's hilarious and gives you hope about changing world and gives place to those who tend to be different from what people assume of them.

2. Pride & Prejudice

The romantic clash between the opinionated Elizabeth and her proud beau, Mr. Darcy, is a splendid performance of civilized sparring.

A 19th century tale that tells you should fight for yourself and also that why it's important to respect decision of others.

3. Dumplin'

With starry Texas nights, red candy suckers, Dolly Parton songs, and a wildly unforgettable heroine—Dumplin’ is guaranteed to steal your heart.

We all know which beauty standards RM had to face and endure and like he believes " if you can't fit the beauty standards, become the beauty standards. "
This book also deals with the same stuff.

4. The Sun is Also a Star

Natasha: I’m a girl who believes in science and facts. Not fate. Not destiny. Or dreams that will never come true.

Daniel: I’ve always been the good son, the good student, living up to my parents’ high expectations. Never the poet.

The Universe: Every moment in our lives has brought us to this single moment. A million futures lie before us. Which one will come true?

A book which will leave you with lots of hope.

2. Jin/Kim Seokjin

WWH : worldwide handsome yes. Overcame the judgement of others and proved to be worthy and incomparable. Hail Grammy's Silver Voice. Confidence and Humour.

1. Eleanor and Park

Eleanor is the new girl in town, and with her chaotic family life, her mismatched clothes and unruly red hair, she couldn't stick out more if she tried.

Park is the boy at the back of the bus. Black T-shirts, headphones, head in a book - he thinks he's made himself invisible. But not to Eleanor... never to Eleanor.

They fall in love the way you do the first time, when you're young, and you feel as if you have nothing and everything to lose.

Humorous and will definitely keep you entertained.

2. Sabriel

Sent to a boarding school in Ancelstierre as a young child, Sabriel has had little experience with the random power of Free Magic or the Dead who refuse to stay dead in the Old Kingdom. But during her final semester, her father, the Abhorsen, goes missing, and Sabriel knows she must enter the Old Kingdom to find him.

This book showcases The self development of Sabriel from a self conscious person to a confident one who believed in herself.

3. The Wizard of Oz

On the way she meets the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman and the Cowardly Lion. But the Wicked Witch of the West has her own plans for the new arrival... will Dorothy ever see Kansas again?

With the themes of self development+confidence+humour this book is so in sync with Jin's personality.

4. The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue

it isn’t in Monty’s nature to give up. Even with his younger sister, Felicity, in tow, he vows to make this yearlong escapade one last hedonistic hurrah and flirt with Percy from Paris to Rome. When the two get tangled up in a cruel high school game—which lands them in group counseling and community service—Libby and Jack are both pissed, and then surprised. When you meet someone who understands you, hard times becomes easier, I don't think I need to elaborate this.

3. The Hunger games

In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

Hard Work always leads to success and that's the theme.

4. 13 Reasons Why

In Narnia they find a country buried under the evil enchantment of the White Witch. When they meet the Lion Aslan, they realize they've been called to a great adventure and bravely join the battle to free Narnia from the Witch's sinister spell.

This story tells you that you can always find your place in homes you never expected and never give up on hope, just like Lucy.

5. Jimin/Park Jimin

The hardworking, versatile and caring member of the band. Who is always there for his members (run episodes are exception though). Now for the book recs

1. The Cruel Prince

As Jude becomes more deeply embroiled in palace intrigues and deceptions, she discovers her own capacity for trickery and bloodshed. But as betrayal threatens to drown the Courts of Faerie in violence, Jude will need to risk her life in a dangerous alliance to save her sisters, and Faerie itself.

With lots of humour and sarcasm, a read that will definitely remind you of Jimin.

2. From Blood and Ash

And as the shadow of those cursed draws closer, the line between what is forbidden and what is right becomes blurred. Poppy is not only on the verge of losing her heart and being found unworthy by the gods, but also her life when every blood-soaked thread that holds her world together begins to unravel

Good banter and humour coming along caring personality just as Jimin.

3. Aristotle and Dante discover the secret of Universe

Aristotle is an angry teen with a brother in prison. Dante is a know-it-all who has an unusual way of looking at the world. When the two meet at the swimming pool, they seem to have nothing in common. But as the loners start spending time together, they discover that they share a special friendship--the kind that changes lives and lasts a lifetime. And it is through this friendship that Ari and Dante will learn the most important truths about themselves and the kind of people they want to be.

With a beautifully caring story, this is a book worth a read.

4. A Christmas Carol

To bitter, miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, Christmas is just another day. But all that changes when the ghost of his long-dead business partner appears, warning Scrooge to change his ways before it's too late.

How a miserly old man turned to be a caring person this story is definitely worth a read.

6. V/Kim Taehyung

World's most handsome man, Kim Taehyung known for his love of art and his straight face sarcasm.

1. A Court of Thorns and Roses

2. Anxious People

A poignant, charming novel about a crime that never took place, a would-be bank robber who disappears into thin air, and eight extremely anxious strangers who find they have more in common than they ever imagined.

3. Hall of Smoke

Thrust into a battle between the gods of the Old World and the New, Hessa realizes there is far more on the line than securing a life beyond her own death. Bigger, older powers slumber beneath the surface of her world. And they're about to wake up.

4. Eliza and her Monsters

In the real world, Eliza Mirk is shy, weird, and friendless. Online, she’s LadyConstellation, the anonymous creator of the wildly popular webcomic Monstrous Sea. But when Eliza’s secret is accidentally shared with the world, everything she’s built—her story, her relationship with Wallace, and even her sanity—begins to fall apart.

Deals with facing our reality which is eventually more harsh than we thought but still trying to win over it.
